I thought the 2007 SE was Ezzy's best sail ever. Perhaps David's idea this year was "Don't mess with a good thing." The sail has very similar look, construction and feel as the 2007 model. It benefits from the same great low end power and huge wind range. Improvements have been made on the on sail tuning guide, making it a breeze for anyone to rig right. This year's tuning guide specifies the range of outhaul instead of giving an absolute number, encouraging sailors to tune to their specific conditions. Super tough X-ply continues to be the material of choice – vinyl window – no monofilm!
